A Letter to Our Customers

To Our Valued Customers,

We are pleased to announce that we are acquiring Do Right’s Plant Growers in Santa Paula, California. The acquisition comes from the desire of owners Dudley and Dianne Davis to retire after 44 years and leave the business to their beloved employees. As an employee owned company the Do Right personnel will become owners at Armstrong Growers.

Our companies already share many customers and business partners; we intend to enhance and expand these essential relationships. We are dedicated to maintaining and increasing the quality of our products, support, and service that you have come to expect from our companies. Together, we will continue to focus on the strengths of each company while allowing you to experience our new and exciting future. For our respective partners, you can expect to see a continued dedication to the independent garden center market with increased opportunities through an expanded set of offerings, programs and services.

Acquiring the site in Santa Paula as a fully operational production site of the same size as our site in San Juan Capistrano will insure the many commercial contracts and resort customers will not miss a beat in the transition process. Armstrong Growers will vacate the San Juan Capistrano site by the end of this summer. Plans have been underway for two years to expand our Fallbrook and Desert facilities to accommodate the move. Certain programs will continue in Santa Paula and some will now be grown in Fallbrook

The official transfer of ownership is set for June 1, 2015.

Both Armstrong Growers and Do Right’s are very grateful to our partners and customers who have already chosen our companies for their plant needs, and we greatly appreciate the partnership. As we proceed with our integration in earnest, we expect many questions. Please refer to the FAQ document, and we look forward to keeping you updated on our progress

Sincerely,

James Russell
